These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through BoBakes for weekly baked goods subscription boxes.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

BoBakes is a small local bakery business based in [area]. We make small-batch baked goods for local customers and neighbours.

Our Products

We sell weekly baked goods subscription boxes. Boxes may include items such as cakes, cookies, pastries, buns, loaves, traybakes or other seasonal bakes.

Contents may vary each week depending on ingredient availability, seasonality and the baker’s menu.

Images on the website or social media are for guidance only. As all items are handmade, appearance, size and finish may vary slightly.

Subscriptions

Subscription boxes are available on a weekly basis unless otherwise stated.

When you sign up, you are agreeing to receive and pay for a box each week until you pause or cancel your subscription.

Subscription spaces may be limited. We reserve the right to refuse, pause or cancel a subscription if we are unable to fulfil it.

Ordering & Payment

Orders must be placed by 5pm Friday for that Sunday's box.

Payment must be made in advance by cash or PayPal.

Your order is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Prices are shown in GBP. We may update our prices from time to time, but we will give reasonable notice before changes affect existing subscriptions.

Collection & Delivery

Boxes are available for:

  • Delivery

Customers are responsible for collecting their box during the agreed collection window. If you do not collect your box during the agreed time, we may not be able to offer a refund or replacement, as baked goods are perishable.

For local delivery, please ensure someone is available to receive the order. If no one is available, we may leave the box in a safe place if agreed in advance. Once delivered or left in the agreed safe place, responsibility for the box passes to you.

Refunds & Returns

Because our products are fresh, handmade and perishable, we cannot accept returns.

Refunds are not usually offered where:

  • You change your mind after the order deadline

  • You forget to collect your box

  • You provide incorrect delivery information

  • You are unavailable to receive delivery

  • You dislike a flavour or item included in that week’s box

If there is a genuine issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery, including photos where possible. We may offer a replacement, credit or refund at our discretion.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Allergens & Dietary Requirements

Our products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including but not limited to:

  • Gluten/wheat

  • Eggs

  • Milk/dairy

  • Nuts

  • Peanuts

  • Soya

  • Sesame

  • Sulphites

We will provide allergen information for our products where required. Please contact us before ordering if you have any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements.

Although we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination.

Customers with severe allergies should not order unless they are satisfied that the products are safe for them.

Ingredients & Availability

Ingredients and menu items may change from week to week.

We reserve the right to substitute items or ingredients where necessary, for example due to supplier shortages, quality issues or seasonal availability.

If a significant substitution is required, we will try to let you know as soon as possible.

Cancellations by Us

We may need to cancel or reschedule a box due to illness, emergency, ingredient issues, kitchen problems, extreme weather or other circumstances outside our control.

If we cancel a paid order, we will offer a refund, credit or alternative date.

Liability

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:

  • Incorrect storage after collection or delivery

  • Consumption after the recommended date

  • Allergies or intolerances not disclosed before ordering

  • Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer

  • Events outside our reasonable control

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
